The organizing committee is proud to announce the sponsorship of the EPF09 congress by IUPAC - International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry.

IUPAC sponsorship implies that entry visas will be granted to all bona fide chemists provided application is made not less than three months in advance. If a visa is not granted one month before the meeting, the IUPAC Secretariat should be notified without delay by the applicant.

The IUPAC sponsorship enables us to grant a limited number of fellowships for participants of the EPF09 congress. These fellowships will include (partial) coverage of the registration fee of EUR 320,- and a contribution to the travel costs of EUR 280,-. The contribution to the travel costs will be refunded on-site at the EPF congress to the successful applicants.

Applications can be submitted by participants already registered to the EPF09 congress as well as new participants. Applications containing

• (i) personal details of the applicant (or reference to her/his account in our database management system),

• (ii) one abstract (minimum) following the template on the www.epf09.org homepage (or reference to the respective abstract(s) in our database management system), and

• (iii) a brief motivation letter (100 words maximum)
